Bloop Muse Gadgets

What is this?

A Muse Gadget you build yourself

Bloop is a Muse Gadget: an open-source device that connects to your Muse through the Muse Gadget SDK. A skill tells Muse what the device can do and how to use it well: which commands are available, when to react, personality, and settings.

What Bloop can do

Everything goes through your Muse, so you just ask. Here's all of it, today.

Every answer comes with a face

Muse picks a reaction to match what it's about to say. Bloop plays it while the spoken reply is prepared, switches to its talking face when the voice starts, and can close with another one: a laugh after the punchline, confetti after good news.

Choices you can tap, or just say

When Muse offers options, Bloop reads them out and puts them up as big buttons. Tap one and it's sent as your reply, exactly as the Muse app would. Or answer out loud like any other question.

Bloop dancing

Your iPhone's music, and a dance partner

Paired over Bluetooth, Bloop shows what's playing on your iPhone, with the album cover, and swipe over for play, pause and skip. Muse can control it too, volume included. While music plays, Bloop dances to it.

Bloop under an umbrella in the rain

Weather you can see

Ask about the forecast and Bloop acts it out: beaming under the sun, sheltering under an umbrella, startled by lightning, bundled in a scarf, or under a rainbow when it clears up.

50 reactions, and counting

Every reaction Muse can play on Bloop, drawn as pixel art and animated on the device. Tap a filter to browse.
